Lively, fresh a bit simple - but kinda like a White Pinot might be. (356 views)

This pretty light color peach wine has wonderful aroma's of honeysuckle, and spring floral note's. Tasting note's include the honeysuckle, citrus, lemon rind with a clean finish. I felt it was best chilled. (134 views)

2008 Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir Winemaker's Reserve (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley) 9/20/2023jnewman77

I wish I had another few bottles of this; this was really good and still quite primary; marion berries, ripe cherries, Eola spice, and a bit of floral notes; ripe with plenty of power and depth, but also still plenty of energy; a bigger wine, but still in balance; long and finishes with spiced berry fruits; I really liked it and would buy it again in a heartbeat for the price I paid. 2022 Amity Vineyards White Pinot Noir (USA, Oregon) 8/13/2023Mike Kopanski87

There seems to be a crowd gathering in Oregon of producers releasing their own version of white Pinot Noir. When Left Coast first did it there were a host of skeptics, now there are copies. This is a good idea. The short time of skin contact brings things the white pulp cant supply on its own. This one a little more dark golden in color. The profile is very much like a rose. A light touch of strawberry and cranberry. Plenty of mouth puckering acid. More body than most white wines. Tastes best well chilled. Just a hint of some earthy Pinot funk on the finish. (276 views)

Maybe part it’s prime after 10 years in the cellar. Not a lot of anything standing out. It’s nice with a bit of cherry and maybe tobacco? (154 views)

2022 Amity Vineyards White Pinot Noir (USA, Oregon) 2/18/2023Abrahm98

Better than a white Zinfandel? Debatable.

….but why is that debatable. Because they aim to accomplish different things. I won’t yuck someone’s yum (a dear friends saying that has infiltrated my mind) but I will point out, white zin is a sweet abomination of “normal” wine. It’s a sugary, pink “lemonade” And it sold for exactly that reason.

This is a confusing, am I a rose or am I a rosé energy.

Blood orange and pepper. Crisp and clean. It reminds me of a dry creek Ava Sauv Blanc.

The palate is a warheads, Meyer lemon drop. But it’s so synchronized that it’s beautiful. A ballet that the piano player didn’t practice but someone improvised.

I’m not ashamed to say this wine at $23 is reasonably price to represent such a niché class of wines. This is someone’s Picasso, and I praise them for it.

Cheers. (369 views)

1985 Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley) 12/29/2022championship_bottle

This needed ~45 minutes in a decanter to really open up. Faded but very pretty aromas of red fruit, florals, and underbrush and a silky palate that was very much alive. It's not getting better—and was definitely at its peak several years ago—but was charming and beautiful to drink. A special opportunity. (216 views)

2021 Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley) 12/18/2022sid_loves_wine92

Definitely solid for the price- maybe not perfectly dialed-in but really fun and showed some surprising complexity. The structure here was the most satisfying part, a really nice gentle "weight" to it, without feeling heavy or overdone. Reticent on the nose but really pretty with wild raspberry, pomegranate tea, some faint floral tone, lots of bright pinkish fruit. The acidity was the weak link, nice energy, just really puckery and tart, lasting long after the fruit faded away. If found for closer to $20, excellent, but nearing $30 it has tough competition. 1983 Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley) 12/3/2022fmcdmc93

Barreling toward 40 with no cliff in sight. Definitely tertiary stage, almost transparent with slight rust color at the edges. Just a whiff of volatility, dried flowers, earth and slight cranberry notes. Bracing acidity, sweet mature fruit and earth, keeps gaining in the glass. I have a few more, here is where storage is king, no hurry to drink the others. Point may be high, but I’m not really a points person. (131 views)

2014 Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley) 6/4/2022SCM Fan90

Decanted 15 mins prior to serving with pork tenderloin off pellet grill. Poured into 25oz Burgundy glass - color ruby red. Nose has lovely Pinot fruit smell. Taste: Raspberry, cherry and a bit of spice. Medium long finish and elegant tannins complete this wine. Pleasurable WV Pinot and not a wallet buster either. Glad to have a couple more. Will age a couple more years, I'm not going wait. This is enjoyable now. (195 views)

2020 Amity Vineyards Pinot Noir (USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley) 6/2/2022Eightyblocker85

Not much subtlety here - much bolder than I expected for a pinot noir. Clear, Medium Ruby with a tinge of purple. Medium intensity nose of dates, plum, vanilla and spice. Med- tannins, well integrated. Medium acidity, medium body (lush), good balance. Not bad, just better paired with a lean steak than salmon! (258 views)
