By the glass. Another Monterrei godello without excessive personality. On the nose it is quite basic with floral notes and especially tropical fruit aromas. On the palate it offers a glyceric texture with a flat, bland acidity. Decent length and a finish without transmission of terroir. Slightly alcoholic aftertaste (13.0 ABV). Looks like a trace of Pazos del Rey’s wine.

Por copas. Otro godello de Monterrei sin excesiva personalidad. En nariz es bastante básico con notas florales y sobretodo aromas de frutas tropicales. Al paladar ofrece una textura glicérica con una acidez plana, insulsa. Longitud decente y final sin transmisión de terruño. Retrogusto ligeramente alcohólico (13.0%). PnP. Not every wine hits everyone the same way. For instance, maybe some enjoyed this on day 1, but for me it was Spanish white, well-balanced, good flavor, but that was it. Half the bottle on day 2, and I was in love with this wine - the way it paired with food was exciting whereas the day before it was more or less just helping to clear my palate for the next bite of food. Green apple skin acidity, well made, balanced, very refreshing cold pear and yellow apple flavors, great with simple shellfish, except lobster which is too rich for the albariño’s light and lively texture .
