I'm not certain that have have tried a Rosé from this area before. This has a light peach colour and I found it rather sharp and not easy to find any fruit. I am not sure I would repeat this purchase, I wonder how it made the best of 2022; I guess because we do not all have the same tastes! (53 views)

Nose is a touch closed, there are hints of cognac fragrance, stewed plums, sweet spices and chocolate. Delicious and rich palate. Nice tension between acidity and tannins in the almost full-bodied mid-palate. Good transition to a fresh and cherry finish. Keep for at least 3 more years for the wine to have better balance and depth. (221 views)

Much better than the first bottle. We drank this one over two evenings with similar impressions. It's clean and has nice fruit. Not much complexity, but it's sound and quite nice. (90 views)

It does remind me of a nice pleasant, but eventually a nondescript Corvina based wine that is excellent for cooking or drinking with some food that isn't much at all like leftovers or a sandwich. (79 views)

Decent Riserva. Price was accessible. The color was clear dark red with bricking around the edges. Nose was spicy red fruits. On the palate, rich spicy fruits, cloves and chocolate. Very enjoyable and the oak was apparent but well integrated. Lately every Amarone I've had was meh, but this one was good and fun to drink. Well done (383 views)

A wonderful fruit expression immediately on the nose. The let down occurs in mouth where the wine declines slightly and fruit closes up to reveal tannin. I suppose it's just ok and maybe just better than ok. (200 views)

The wine starts with aromas of black cherry, some darker fruit and chocolate and even some cinnamon. In mouth similar notes with the addition of oak, cedar and drying notes of bay leaf and oregono. (1032 views)

-nearly opaque dark red purple no clearing
-rather muted rich plum fig
-med/med- acidity is just enough to provide some focus, med+/full weight thick silky textured somewhat faded fig plum spice port-like with a hint of salinity that adds a fresh note to the finish along with some heat and med- tannins
-big wine with classic Amarone features probably fully mature now, the heat isn't overwhelming but may become more prominent as the fruit further fades; paradoxically this bottle seems a little fresher and certainly more enjoyable than a bottle 8 years ago (141 views)
