Im loving 2017 white currently as they’ve mainly shed their acidity a little.
This shows classic lime flavour profile that’s classic Puligny. Nice roundness of mouth feel. Surprising sweetness of fruit on the finish.
As with other F Carillon wines I’ve tried, this is an easy drinker, but seems a bit short on the finish and lacks energy and excitement compared to other producers. (56 views)

Tasted blind. Golden color, round fruit character, has age on it, decent acidity, touch of oak on the finish. I love this producer, but tonight the wine was almost new world 'ish'. (68 views)

This definitely needs air and maybe even a decant if you dont have time. Upon opening it was behaving like tight Chablis and with air it first became a little more fatty with white orchard fruit bouquet (like a Meursault) and then at the end of the dinner it really showed its true self with layered complexity that I have come to associate with Puligny Monrachet. In brief, you are better off ageing this 4-5 more years and I wish I had more of this stuff. QPR is debatable but a fantastic wine nonetheless. (124 views)

On ne présente plus Carillon, basé à Puligny. Voilà exactement l'idée que je me fais d'un bourgogne blanc de qualité à prix raisonnable. Nez charmeur sur le beurre, les fruits jaunes et le melon, bouche ronde et fruitée avec juste ce qui faut de gras mais sans perdre en tension. Finale séduisante et raffinée. Très belle longueur. This is precisely what I envision as a quality white Burgundy at a reasonable price. A charming nose of butter, yellow fruits, and melon, a round and fruity palate with just the right amount of richness without losing tension. A seductive and refined finish. Very nice length.
