Very, very nice.
Tons of apricots, a bit of pear, elderberry and honey.
Great balance: there is substantial sweetness here but it is so well balanced by acidity & co that the wine does not feel overly sweet at all.
We managed to drink a bottle of this within 2 hours with great ease.
If there's anything to criticise (on a very high level), it's that the aftertaste doesn't quite follow through with the rest and is a bit simpler.
But it has to be clear that this is an excellent wine. (32 views)

My sister came to town for a Mother's Day visit with our mother. Friday evening, an after-dinner drink was in order. She requested something sweet and unique. This fit the bill.

Not overly sweet and definitely not like syrup, the nose has plenty of tropical fruit with pineapple being the lead. On the palate, apple pear and ripe honeydew melon. The finish is long without that cloying feeling you dread from lesser late harvest wines. (42 views)

This is showing very nicely especially a few hours after opening. A pronounced petrol aroma reminiscent of Riesling (TDN), and on the palate a strong presence of phenolic grip, citrus, tropical fruit and minerality. High racy acidity, 13.5% ABV, medium + bodied.
