This is quite a gem. More extended and evolved than the regular 16 year I had a few times a few years ago. This shows more depth and range. Pricey though perhaps. (468 views)

N.V. Scapa Skiren The Orcadian Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 40% (United Kingdom, Scotland, Orkney Islands) 7/13/2019Zweder92

Flowers and tropical fruit flavors in the bouquet and on the palate. Apricots and peach are the dominant impressions. Although a good and clean Whisky this is not really my style and although I score it high, I don’t intend to buy it again. (436 views)

I really like Scapa - no peat and a gentle, floral, oily profile. One of the better ones at its price. The 16 is great too. (520 views)

F: guld. A: vanilla, malt, æble, ananas. S: metal, tør, olie? E: salt/peber, middel.
Dagens surprice, lidt kedelig, mærkelig flad i udtrykket, ananas i whisky??? Havde næsten regnet den ud, men farven snød mig. (1742 views)

N.V. Scapa 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 40% (United Kingdom, Scotland, Orkney Islands) 10/5/2008winesteaksushi91

Pale gold in color, very clear. Nose: Very spirit-strong at full strength, quite a nose-burn. Still potent at 27% alcohol (1:2), but much lighter and open at 20%. Not very smoky, hint of salt, lightly toasted bread, some honey-sweetness like the bottle proclaims. Taste: true to the scent - smooth, airy, very rich, only a hint of smoke or charcoal. Lingers very nicely with no off notes throughout the initial taste and finish. Very pleasant to sip even at full-strength. (1499 views)
