Still primary, but incredible terroir ("the rocks" - gravel, funk, and cured meat) with blueberries and red cherries. Overall good balance and acidity. Light on its feet, so more of a Côte Rôtie style for a WA Syrah. Will be best 2025-2032. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 90. (26 views)

So much Yakima character, blackberry and blueberry, hot gravel road, tinge of sappy herbs, nicely oaked in a Ribera del Duero style, a bit coarse on the finish. (17 views)

Opened for a wine group tasting and it was quite nice upon opening, but it seemed to break down extremely quickly (within an hour or two) and never recovered. Basically came apart. Perhaps too old to be releasing now or something wrong with this bottle, but very odd. (10 views)

Tasting beautifully at the moment. Actually still has a little time left and cannot believe that there’s still fruit hanging on, with very soft tannins and massive complexity. Would drink now or hold no longer than around 3 years or so. (11 views)

A worthy cousin in the Corliss family. Berry cobbler nose, with a floral touch; rich blackberries on the palate, with a mineral element, abundant acids, fine tannins and a fabulous mouthfeel. The finish is long-ish and mouthwatering. Great QPR. (16 views)

Really pretty good - balanced. Roussane is a softer and more welcoming grape and this wine shows that. I’m glad I bought these as a trial of a domestic version of Roussane. (15 views)

Hazy, straw in hue. Oak and orchard fruit on the nose. On the palate, overripe apples on the attack with, meyer lemon and almond skin in the long finish. Took a while to open up. (19 views)
