Too strong and overpowering. I had this with the 2019, and this was much stronger. Even when it mellowed a bit over a couple days, it did not taste like a Nebbiolo to me. Way too powerful. (8 views)

N: Medium intensity. Strawberry and cranberry. Roses and warm gravel. Some baking spices like cinnamon. Cedar. Youthful.
P: Dry. High acidity. Medium+ tannin, medium alcohol, and medium- body. Medium+ flavour intensity. Cranberry, rose water. Cedar and a little earthiness but of a primary kind. Medium+ finish.
AQ: Good. Easy blind guess Langhe Nebbiolo. 8-/18.

From magnum bottlle. Wow this was good. Starting to be peak-drinking, with explosive notes of ripe black cherries, some dark plum, some rum pot, tar, black tea, also some menthol, pine tree and cedar wood, there is also some and Barolo Chinato-ish herbal notes. It‘s medium-full bodied, dense and powerful, but very polished at the same time. It has medium-high acidity and medium+ tannin that is excellent quality. Superb length. A great magnum bottle from this excellent producer. It‘s showing the darker side of Serralunga, but with superb polish and an overall sensual drinking experience. Beautiful. (16 views)

2 hour decant. Cherry fruit nose. Elegant middle-weight taste, again cherry fruit. Long finish. The decant has softened the tannins, this shows young but very drinkeable. Nice elegant Barolo. Much better than the first showing about a year and a half ago. (19 views)

Light reddish in color with light intensity, and fresh red fruits on the nose.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with mild complexity.

Showing red currants, cherries, strawberries light wood, spices, coffee and dark chocolates.

Tangy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Barolo. Still very young and needs time to mature properly.

Elegant and rich. Fresh, easy drinking, and already enjoyable, even by itself. Showing nice complexity and mouthfeel.

Needs time to open up properly, so be patient. Good by itself or with food.

Would be nice to revisit it in 10 years.
