Best Kept Secrets/Hidden Gems (Farpointe Cellar): The nose on this wine wine was very tight. I did get some apple, and a little floral notes. The palate had earth, mixed with apple, spice, and a bit of violets. The finish was good. (1934 views)

On the nose a hint of hawthorne blossom. In the mouth tangy, citrus fruits, and a hint of honey at the finish. A very nice feel in the mouth, a pleasing weight balanced by the acidity. Very good value for money. (1414 views)

Third bottle of this. I did not enjoy the first bottle - it seemed much like the note by 'cwheeler'. This was however much better, still full on pear juice but with balance and harmony - almost chablis-esque. Good value at the price. (2254 views)

maybe it was the food pairing, but this bottle was considerably more interesting than the last one: not too fleshy, with good acidity and persistance, and a subtle, attractive profile on the palate. (1641 views)

Bright gold/amber; lots of vanilla, tropical fruit and oak aromas; same on the palate, with some citrus emerging and a bit of stone/slate on the finish. Med-to-full bodied, very ripe and mouthfilling. Tons of material here, but the oak treatment is more prominent than I recall from initial tastings on release. Two bottles left, plan to leave them for awhile and see how things integrate. (2017 views)

Luann thought that this was excessively sweet and didn't like it. I didn't find it sweet. Pretty nice pear, a bit of pineapple and apple and vanilla. Not too exciting, but not bad. (1720 views)

Light yellow in color. As Scott said, this wine is pleasant enough in its own way, but it is clearly a bit soft and flabby. Needs more acidity to balance things out and match the style of white Burg that I prefer. (2323 views)
