30 years old but still very enjoyable. Tinted light red and brown. Aromas of apricot, candied orange, and walnut, reminiscent of a good Christmas fruit cake. Saved by a fresh and bright acidity that goes magnificently with a host of desserts that often have little acidity. Silk smooth texture. The swallow adds dried dates and a little maraschino cherry, and the finish is almost endless. And yes, as the picture shows, the half bottle cost only $9. (42 views)

Evolved into a dark golden colour, lots of secondary notes (green tea!) and the perfect balance I've come to expect from this wine. IT was a good call to let these age a bit, as they're way more interesting than in the past. (581 views)

Beautiful tropical fruit aromas. Moderate sweetness on entry with a firm acidic backbone. For my tastes, I would have liked more sweetness and the acidity certainly could have balanced more. May have waited a little too long to open this one. Past it’s prime. Still had a dry mouthfeel slightly bitter not quite sour. Subtle notes of cherry. A little more tannic than expected. Disappointed in what happened after a year in the cellar. (133 views)
