Delightful rioja. Some light funk (the good kind), slightly deeper red/purple in color than I expected, yet still medium bodied. A little tart citrus on the finish. Slight pucker factor almost, but not enough to distract from enjoyment. (3668 views)

Nice balance of vibrant red and dark fruit along with a touch of smoke and a hint of spice. Enough acidity to cut through fruits, but not overdone. A little restrained at first but it opens up. Curious to see what it does over time. Very nice expression of German Pinot noir (794 views)

Bricking around the edges. Aromatic nose with orange peel, cinnamon, spice, tart cherries, light funk. Tastes of orange peel & pith, sour cherry, hint of vanilla. A bit on the tart side, and thinner on the palate than on the nose, but with a lingering finish and residual tannins. Hard to say how much longer this has. (6709 views)
