Violet color, nice legs. Green bell pepper city. Some dark cherry, some oak, and capsaicin hell. Don’t think this wine is going to outlive that green. (580 views)

Pretty nice treat with pizza tonight. Still has the Vio component showing with the tropical nose and little bit of rock candy on the finish. Leather, blackberry, and black cherry on the palate. (977 views)

14.5% version. Really clunky and chemical tasting. VWE claims they found a few more barrels of BN Hillside in the warehouse, thus the higher abv from the earlier 14%. Shame on VWE for trying to pull a fast one on folks. Tastes like they found of the heavy press wine barrels and dumped some adjunct oak and a few random barrels into a brite tank to get enough for a bottling run. Terrible wine, shows what we can expect from the brand moving forward. (1816 views)

Well that was a train wreck. Nose of basil and stewed prunes. Taste of blood orange, tomatoes, and alcohol for days. Smells and tastes like spoiled rocket fuel. (577 views)

I opened a bottle based on recent notes. Loren's note is pretty spot on. Nice perfume, little bit of blackberry kirsch and red cherries, but a hollow mid palate. Perfectly drinkable bottle, a little on the generic side. Doesn't carry the usual Bedrock weight. I'd say drink up. (1497 views)

Nice hints of clove, touch of oak, lots of fruit. No butter in this one. Really enjoyed this with some stuffed chicken breasts. No rush on this one. (1297 views)

Best chardonnay I've ever had. Lemon, butterscotch, and a little hazelnut flavor. A little bit of fizzy bubbles, but it blew off after 40 min. Oak was well integrated. Paired beautifully with jambalaya. (2268 views)

Wine was really out of balance. I was expecting red cherries and strawberries based on previous vintages. It had red and black cherries, but was clunky and had a quite a bit of heat poking through which I previously hadnt experienced in a Holdredge. (2344 views)
