Tobacco and cassis nose. Cedar.

Enters with cab fruit. Full mouth feel, Great balance of fruit and oak as it opens up.

Great nose of dark ripe fruit. Palate has fruit and lots of pepper and spice. Very strong acid backbone carries the wine, but balances the fairly large tannic profile. 1 hour decant and it probably needed more. Still at least 5 years, probably 2x that. A little tight still.

Beautiful brick color. Floral perfume with a hint of strawberry. Earthy palate with some funk, mushroom, rose petal, pepper, red fruit is still strong on the mid palate through the finish. Long finish. (612 views)

Pours inky with cherry red edges.

Nose is funk with herbal notes with spice and mint. Dark fruit.

Palate is perfectly rounded. Nice acid. Raspberry bramble fruit notes with pepper and mineral notes when paired with steak.

Tasty!! So round and full. Medium fruit, funk, mineral and herb notes.

Like a cross between the minerality and acid of a French Pinot/Gamay, with the plummy robustness of a cab.
