I look at this bottle every year for our annual Christmas tree. Decorating bottle of champagne. Finally, I pulled it. It is amazingly young and vibrant for a 34 year old champagne. Golden and viscous, Still with a little mousse. Just a hint of hazelnut. The palate is Tart with a very deep flavors Lemon zest and savory caramel. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Really a nice wine. I am not in the camp that this Has to be decanted or that it should take a long wait to drink. It is delicious right off the bat. Lovely warm fruit.
