Cranberries, cassis, grass and green bell pepper. Good acidity and food friendly, drinks very well right now with some air. (1209 views)

2011 Catherine et Pierre Breton Bourgueil Les Galichets (France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Bourgueil) 10/18/2013Nordin88

Ok, this is maybe not a big wine, but I certainly like it's cool and lean style. It has a beautiful blue redish transparent color. The nose has typical cab franc markers such as green pepper, black currant and grass and also some meat. The palate is lean but full of fresh black currant, green pepper and some pencil. Best served cold, drinks we'll right now if decanted but could maybe use a few years in the cellar. (1502 views)
