2008 Ferrer Bobet Priorat Vinyes Velles (Spain, Catalunya, Priorat) 7/23/2012Nordin91

Initital decanted for 3 h.
Bluered color, not very thick.

At first the nose is loaded with vanilla, dark berries, mineral, coffee. 2 hours later a more burnt rubber/"lakritsal candy" scent appears.

The taste is rich and well structured, loaded with dark fruit/berries, cedar, liqourice, the tannins are quite well integated, good finnish with some alcohol heat.

This wine could proably be cellared for some years, but I think it drinks very well now with some decanting. (4610 views)
