Paired very well with Salmon, on a bed of cabbage & prosciiutto. The richness and bite of this Meursault seemed like what a sauce would add to the fish. (1475 views) | ||||

This surprised me. Was richer (too much malo?) and denser than I would have thought. I didn't really pay it close attention and it went in about 15 minutes (at that dinner party with the guys who pour big (too much pour?). Seemed older than the vintage, except for the oak which was clumsy (as was I at that point in the evening, so I might have that wrong). Very curious to taste again. Maybe this one caught some oxidation along the way... Maybe it should have been allowed to breath for a bit... Guess we'll see. (1759 views) | ||||
