An "orange" wine, although the color is deep and healthy gold. This wine has a very complex and evolving nose like other extended skin contact (I presume that is the method here) wines. Smoky, pear and other fruits, field smells - hard to name everything. It improves with air and is very food friendly. The mouthfeel is very heavy, but it has a resolutely dry finish. The sort of wine you keep going back to. I presume that this wine will last a very long time. (6964 views) | ||||

The nose showed dried apricot and peaches with sweet spice, brown sugar and dried flowers. On the palate, it was medium-bodied and balanced with more dried apricot and inner floral notes that lasted well into the finish joined by saline minerals. Although this wine changed the least with time in the glass, it was enjoyable from start to finish. (7465 views) | ||||
