My second comment, about 18 mos. later: Decanted 90 mins. ahead. Dark garnet color. Nice nose of herbs, cherries, sandalwood, red currants. Medium-bodied on the palate, not soft but veering toward softness in acid balance, as red-fruit flavors lead. It's not sprightly. Finishes fast, with low grip and near-zero tannins. Pleasant, moderately interesting; the fruit mix is the best thing about it. (1221 views)

Decanted 90 mins. ahead. Ruby color with purple touches. Nice earthy nose with mushrooms, blackberries, black cherries. Spice flavors lead on the palate, including cinnamon and cardamon, over black cherry tones. The finish is drying, with tea notes and a bit of grip along with very low tannins. Acidity and earth notes are key to this wine, a very pleasant bottle which is juicy and very much worth drinking. (1554 views)
