How can a wine that goes down so effortlessly, as if gulped down from a tumbler providing all the usual cranberry, cherry red fruit aroma and flavour, deliciously sprinkled with black pepper...would this wine's structured leanness become more rich if paired with a Hunan sliced beef ? | ||||

As good and quaffable as last time. It's one of those bottles that you want to sit back, watch a movie with possibly some popcorn and not over analyze the wine, just enjoy it! Brilliant. (2364 views) | ||||

What a pretty and interesting wine. Amazing fresh and juicy fruit jumps off the front palate, mostly of rasberries and cranberries. Amazingly alive. The tannins are nearly no existent. I'm curious about what these wines taste like in a cooler year, but am not sure I'd want to find out. Very nice finish as well. Rarely do I taste a wine seemingly so casual that tastes so special. Amped up CF leafiness on nose. Polished leafiness in mouth and very sweet, almost port like in the finish. Sweeter and less complex than the 03 Clos de la Folie. Very interesting wine, more Anjou-ish than Chinonish. Lost delineation with air. (1608 views) | ||||

Holy moses! Huge nose reminiscent of a Cru-Beaujolais with lightly crushed berries, blueberries, and a slight bubble gum note. The palate is very bright and juicy of ripe red cherries, a touch of raspberry, and finishes with a hint of bitter chocolate. Definitely not complex by any means, yet it is so quaffable and pretty. Not to mention very affordable! (1801 views) | ||||
