Excellent QPR. (1403 views) | | Tasted by mau on 10/19/2014 & rated 88 points: Very good QPR, still has some tannins that needs to settle (1565 views) | | Tasted by Giggs on 4/12/2012 & rated 90 points: This 2nd bottle was a completely different wine. Pretty nose of sweet vanilla bean, very leathery like a little CDP, nougat, red/black cherry and blueberry liqueur, and dried herbs. Fresh, chewy palate, leather, puckering acidity, pencil lead, rawhide, with a sweet-sour cranberry finish. (2751 views) | | Tasted by Giggs on 4/4/2012 & rated 88 points: Very Southern Rhone nose, very fresh, garrigue, brambly red fruit, red and black licorice, smoky herbs. Ripe palate, dark red fruit evokes black cherry reduction, extremely juicy midpalate, round, subtle meaty edge to the fruit. Fun to drink. (2570 views) | | Tasted by Grumbling_Goat on 3/11/2012 & rated 86 points: Seemed to need decanting for about 60 minutes. Was quite good after, tart. (2703 views) | | Tasted by LoireFan on 2/16/2012 & rated 91 points: Best CdR I've had in a long time. This had an extra level of complexity you rarely see in CdRs. (1829 views) | | Tasted by Bricks on 1/17/2012 & rated 90 points: enjoyed several bottles. good lazy afternoon drinker especially if bought at a discount (1815 views) | | Tasted by Ron Felthoven on 7/18/2011 & rated 90 points: Gorgeous, herbaceous, and savory. Little bit of sweetness but good acid balance. Love it. (1421 views) | | Tasted by Ron Felthoven on 7/7/2011 & rated 92 points: Really blown away by this wine. Complex as hell, perfectly balanced with a long finish. Good acidity as well. A great wine, amazing QPR. (1441 views) |
