Tasted by TheClemence on 3/5/2024 & rated 95 points: Riassaggiato dopo 2 anni. Per me eccellente. (153 views)
Tasted by Bolognese Diner on 12/20/2023 & rated 88 points: Structured, institutional, well-crafted. A very good Nebbiolo, clean and fruity, an excellent expression of a vintage that, in my opinion, will bring great satisfaction.

Composto, istituzionale, ben fatto. Un buonissimo nebbiolo, pulito e fruttato, ottima espressione di un'annata che darą grandi soddisfazioni a mio avviso (249 views)
Tasted by winespine on 9/30/2023 & rated 91 points: This was lovely, and from an excellent producer in Piedmont. We took it to dinner at our friends, and it was popped and poured for dinner. It's medium bodied, with lots of red fruit and spiciness I expect from Nebbiolo. I would agree with another tasting note, this is still pretty tight, and I think a decant would've been useful. I actually switched wines during dinner, to let this one open more and it eventually came around. So for my next bottle I'll give it some time and air before consuming. (279 views)
Tasted by Coupe 60 on 6/25/2023: PnP, a little sharp and austere right now with some spice... I would hold em if ypu have em (392 views)
Tasted by wineswithmuscles on 12/1/2022: This feels like a one way ticket to La Morra, right into a local Nebbiolo vineyard. A Langhe Nebbiolo with a terrific frame, like a skeleton providing steadiness, a tannic spine and structure. You can feel the class of the 2019 vintage and Odderos idea behind this Nebbiolo: an aging of around one year in botte grande and at the same time to keep the purity, the Nebbiolo fragrance and freshness fully alive. Red roses in a flowerbed, raspberry, red currant, a drop of cherry liqueur and light hint of chewing tobacco pop up, remain present and bracing, in this really stunning, young Langhe Nebbiolo.  Tasted by TheClemence on 2/23/2022 & rated 92 points: Strutturato ed elegante, finemente corposo, sapido e minerale. Di media profonditą e lunghezza. Al naso ottimi profumi, di leggera consistenza, tra frutti, legno, cuoio e tabacco. Nebbiolo di qualitą davvero alta. Piaciuto molto. (546 views)

Nebbiolo

Nebbiolo is a red grape indigenous to the Piedmont region of Italy in the Northwest. The grape can also be found in other parts of the world, though they are not as respected.

Nebbiolo is often considered the "king of red wines," as it is the grape of the famed wines of Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, and Roero DOCG. It is known for high tannins and acidity, but with a distinct finesse. When grown on clay, Nebbiolo can be very powerful, tannic, and require long aging periods to reach its full potential. When grown on sand, the grape exhibits a more approachable body with more elegant fruit and less tannins, but still has high aging potential.

"Nebbiolo" is named for the Italian word, "nebbia", which means "fog", in Italian and rightfully so since there is generally a lot of fog in the foothills of Piedmont during harvest.

Nebbiolo is a late-ripening variety that does best in a continental climate that boasts moderate summers and long autumns. In Piedmont, Nebbiolo is normally harvested in October.
