Tasted by ffjxc on 11/26/2023 & rated 90 points: Nice fruit w some acid. Probably could use a year to mellow. Nice legs and long taste. (139 views)
Tasted by ecola on 6/3/2019 & rated 90 points: Medium body with nice intensity of red and black fruit. Soft spice comes in on the finish. Drink now. (1249 views)
Tasted by SnoopSaun on 2/27/2019: Didn’t love it. Maybe we should have waited but we were excited by its potential. (1188 views)
Tasted by Mark1npt on 1/9/2019 & rated 92 points: I don't usually decant a zin but this one is weird on opening with a fizzy cola sensation in the mouth up front. 2 hours in and this is just a very nice, smooth spicy peppery red fruited beauty. I think people are missing out if you don't give this one some air. (2267 views)
Tasted by StraightnoChaser on 11/1/2018 & rated 91 points: Juicy and smooth and chock full of red fruits. More sweet red berry than the blackberry dominant Zinfandels we’re used to.
We went from “just one glass” to “that bottle went quickly” in no time.
Paired with buttermilk-thyme-rosemary soaked pork shoulder from the grill.
YUM! (1353 views)
Tasted by Jwmumm on 10/20/2018 & rated 92 points: Wow. Had this with pot roast and it paired extremely well! Lots of jammy fruit that lasted long after each sip. This is an amazing zin. Great job Brown! We will visit again! (1193 views)
Tasted by Vanhender on 3/16/2018: Nice fruit. Not much tannins (779 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
