Tasted by axelllund on 5/26/2024 & rated 86 points: Very High acidity (185 views)
Tasted by Veni_Bibi_Vici on 5/19/2024 & rated 90 points: Very fresh, but not too simple. Zesty and a creamy touch. A key lime pie. (831 views)
Tasted by Goodwine4ever on 5/13/2024 & rated 91 points: Limette, léger, aérien, hyper rafraichissant et bulle très fine.
Sans-être bien complexe, son niveau de satisfaction est élevé. (1429 views)
Tasted by sergio19 on 5/8/2024 & rated 91 points: Opened too early. Degorgement feb 2020. Light golden yellow in the glass, fine and consistent perlage. On the nose beautiful notes of toast, butter, sweets, flowers and a little honey.
Very fresh in the mouth, with hints of freshly roasted almonds. Slightly savory finish. (1122 views)
Tasted by Frank Murray III on 5/4/2024: My first bottle of the 2023 disgorgement, from May. This is the 100% Chard wine without dosage. 50% reserve wine, not sure of the base year. I opened this yesterday and at that time my perceptions were of a disgorgement that was more acidic but less complex than the best disgorgements. Very distinctly anchored by a pink grapefruit, with lemon pith, mango and tangy peach. Revisiting today, plenty of powdered rock aroma today, plus a citrus rind. Love the smell of the wine, for sure. The pink grapefruit note hangs in the core of the wine, and I do think in total that this is a more gentler version of this cuvee, highlighting more stone fruit and mango, a moderately complex version that works. (1499 views)
Tasted by aquacongas on 4/9/2024 & rated 92 points: not blind
A great refreshing Brut nature with a lot of fruit sweetness. Crystal clear in the finish. Love it. 92-93 (2509 views)
Tasted by ekorn on 3/30/2024: 07/2022 disgorgement. Poured 2 hours after opening into Grassl Libertes. Lean and precise, lemon and mineral-driven. Great aperitif. (2095 views)
Tasted by MarcPal on 3/18/2024 & rated 90 points: Consistent, good QPR champagne. Doughy, chalky, lemon zest, fresh and straight forward. Much better than big house champagnes at the same price range. (2256 views)
Tasted by sharonandroland on 3/7/2024 & rated 94 points: Very fresh for haveing been years in bottle for 11 years. Super intense minerality. Very chalky. Searing acidity. Long (2448 views)
Tasted by soyhead on 2/8/2024: Disg 11/22
Dosage 0

Honeyed, a rich rendition of Chardonnay. No lactic goodness to my palate. (2518 views)
Tasted by grizzlywine on 2/2/2024 & rated 95 points: This bottle is right on point tonight. Toasty lemon curd and crushed white rock, both rich and generous on the nose. Zero austerity here, the palate again reflects sweet yellow citrus following to a medium chalky finish. Great. (2344 views)
Tasted by happyhyrax on 1/4/2024 & rated 89 points: Very yeasty/doughy. Apple, pear, lemon up front. Huge amount of bubbles on opening but they all disappeared very quickly and the remains in the glass have none to speak of. Finish is a bit shorter than I remember and I can’t understand why I rated the previous as highly as I did. This is a very nice Blanc de Blancs though. Crisp and clean and simple. A nice alternative to the big houses. (2821 views)
Tasted by Anna@WineCellar on 12/31/2023 & rated 90 points: New Years Eve Champagne.
Yellow apples and some fudge. Rounded acidity and soft mousse. (No formal notes taken, just enjoyed.)
Base wine from 2017 with 50% reserve wine from 2015 and 2016. No dosage. Deg 11/2019. (2562 views)
Tasted by marcus_francois on 12/31/2023: Pass for me. High acid without the fruit or structure to match. (1988 views)
Tasted by dbkitc on 12/25/2023 & rated 93 points: Delicious, as always. (1971 views)
Tasted by Voodoo_Champagne on 12/16/2023: Drunk by Gabriel Glass, IMO the best glass for Champagne, it makes this Champagne much more delicious and amazing.🍾 (2210 views)
Tasted by wongstonn on 12/15/2023 & rated 91 points: Consumed as part of a blind tasting pitching an Australian sparking (Lethbridge Nadeson Collis NV against grower Champagne. THis is alos my first ever grower Champagne so was wanting to see if grower Champagne meets the hype.

Pastry, dough smell. Clean, ‘standard’ Champagne flavours. Wouldn’t personally have thought it any different to any other Champagne I can recall. Nothing wrong with it, but equally given the hype over the years about grower Champagne really didn’t feel any difference from other many other non-grower Champagnes. (2150 views)
Tasted by adam16 on 12/3/2023 & rated 92 points: Really bright and zingy champagne, lots of lemon and other citrus flavor. Opened up with some homemade sushi and couldn't have paired better (2395 views)
Tasted by Anton_Wallin on 11/29/2023 & rated 90 points: Fantastiskt som vanligt!
Mer oxidativ än jag mindes.

Drick nu eller inom tre år.

Tasted by Voodoo_Champagne on 11/24/2023: Drunk from Universal Zalto, good volume and taste . (2222 views)
Tasted by grizzlywine on 11/17/2023 & rated 94 points: Lemon compote, white minerals, fresh croissants, and mascarpone on an attractive nose. Proper bdb acidity and a sharp bead. Well balanced and attractive, great nature for the price. (2332 views)
Tasted by Rani on 11/11/2023 & rated 91 points: On the nose it’s almost like an IPA, with notes of mandarin peels and yeast. Dry and crisp on the palate, very interesting and layered. (2535 views)
Tasted by Mrbuzz on 11/10/2023 & rated 95 points: The old ugly label...no info on label that I can see...probably at least 11yrs after DG...100% Chard, no dose, 40-50% reserves juice...brilliant shiny golden, slight green tinge color...subtle nose of Krug-ish good ox...caramel apple, lemon curd, pie crust, sea air...HOLY COW in the mouth...BRIGHT and ZINGING with lemon tarts and sour apple pop rocks! Unbelievable burst of freshness... then a calm of light and delicate ginger marsala mousse coats the palate...super balance with some yeast and brioche...pretty blossom florals...slight aged nuances of dried honey, marsala creme, salted hazelnuts...but still quite youthful and in tip top shape. VERY surprised and kind of in shock with this bottle...it is amazing right now! Tells me I need to hold(and buy more) of the current pretty labelers a LOT longer. And if you see this one in the wild...don't let the ugly label fool ya! (2409 views)
Tasted by Voodoo_Champagne on 10/28/2023: Been awhile, but so well made and lovely, I love all his no dosage wines.
This is disgorged jan/2023 (2512 views)
Tasted by Wino133 on 10/14/2023 & rated 92 points: Delicious, drinkable, make sure you give it a bit of time to breathe. Drink over 45min and the last sip was the best. Very elegant body.

Disgorged Jan 23. (2817 views)

France - When it comes to wine, France stands alone. No other country can beat it in terms of consistent quality and diversity. And while many of its Region, Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne most obviously, produce wine as rare, as sought-after and nearly as expensive as gold, there are just as many obscurities and values to be had from little known appellations throughout the country. To learn everything there is to know about French wine would take a lifetime. To understand and appreciate French wine, one only has to begin tasting them. Click for a list of bestselling items from all of France.
Sub-Region:

Champagne - The French region of Champagne (including the cities of Rheims, Épernay, and Aÿ) was the first region in the world to make sparkling wine in any quantity. Today, the name of the region is synonymous with the finest of all sparkling wines, and wine-making traditions of Champagne have become role models for sparkling wine producers, worldwide. Surprisingly, the region of Champagne is now responsible for only one bottle in 12 of all sparkling wine produced. Styles of champagne range in sweetness ranging from an extra brut or brut 0, to the basic brut to demi sec to doux; some houses produce single vintage champagnes and others produce non-vintage (or incorporate wines/grapes of multiple vintages), often to preserve a specific taste; combinations of grape varietals; and colors, including a rosé. There are several sub-appellations, including the Valley of the Marnes river running from Épernay west, Massif de Saint-Thierry north and west of Rheims, Valley of the Ardre, the Mountains of Rheims (between Rheims and Épernay), Côte des Blancs, Côte de Sézanne, and Côte des Bar in the South. Champagne wine only uses three grape varietals (cépages): Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
