| Tasted by Mike Kopanski on 4/4/2011 & rated 86 points: This drinks pretty well for $9 bottle of wine. It brings a smack of the old world earthiness, with just the right amount of fruit in the back ground. Quite Italian with the acid profile. Almost complex. Medium bodied. Some red fruit, some dark fruit. Smooth and easy drinking with a hint of dusty minerality. Clean and well made. Spicy. Not much finish. Nice job. (4760 views) |
| Tasted by ecola on 2/4/2011 & rated 88 points: Aromas of light oak and red berries. A nice blend of sangio, merlot, and syrah. Full bodied with a bit of spice and gripping tannins. This may get smoother in a few years. ($9) (4797 views) |
| Tasted by RichardZula on 9/28/2008: This was a nice Sangiovese blend for the price; included Merlot and Syrah; some fine tannins for a little structure; balanced. (3420 views) |
| Tasted by KeithAkers on 2/8/2008 & rated 87 points: nose: very nice forward nose of blueberry, floral notes, cherry, spices, and a bit of barnyard
taste: nice and very easy drinking. floral notes, blueberry, and a bit of barnyard hay on teh back palate. getting very little of the syrah characteristics on the palate outside of some tannins and structure. much more sangiovese and merlot style on the palate, but with a bit more weight due to the syrah
overall: this is a really nice wine at $9. the finish is lacking, but the flavor profile is very nice and this is extremely easy drinking. a nice fun wine to drink (6651 views) |
| Tasted by agbailey on 11/6/2007: fairly average. Flavors are simple, fair nose and nice texture. not bad, but not exciting and I have certainly had better, even at this price point. Not sure i will repeat, as I like Centine by Banfi better at this price. (6853 views) |

| Tasted by Winefish on 5/4/2007 & rated 86 points: Pleasant enough tuscan. Very smooth, but not very exciting. Doubt it would stand up with food. (4028 views) |
