Tasted by Jkuryak on 8/28/2017: Decent, but you could tell its on its way down. (1672 views)
Tasted by TC16 on 2/10/2017 & rated 91 points: Last bottle. Very much the crowd pleaser. Fullish lemon peel to lemon curd. A touch of slate and wet stone. A little bitter on the end. No question its a new world chard, but relatively restrained for Napa. Helps it was a cool year I suspect. (1460 views)
Tasted by TC16 on 12/6/2014 & rated 92 points: Lovely lemon cream with undertones of minerality. Richer than a Chablis, but of a similar vein. Will buy again. (2558 views)
Tasted by AngryPrez on 10/14/2014 & rated 90 points: lovely - blossomed with air and a bit of warmth - elegant and tasty, very good with food - buy again (2565 views)
Tasted by HoustonWineLvr on 3/31/2014 & rated 90 points: Very mineral. Extremely light. Very tasty. (3020 views)

Medium bodied, flinty (Chablis like), with medium finished. (2691 views)
Tasted by vegasoenophile on 5/8/2013 & rated 87 points: No ml and no oak. Crisp, vibrant citrus, pear and light lemon on the nose. Palate has biting acidity and grapefruit notes as well as lemon. Nice, refreshing style. (2042 views)
Tasted by Bob in NC on 12/24/2012 & rated 92 points: Wonderful floral notes, minerality and light citrus. (2384 views)
Tasted by creddy on 11/4/2012 & rated 90 points: Light color with tropical fruits. Nice, lighter alternative to their oaked chard. (1938 views)
Tasted by kstoddard on 7/14/2012 & rated 89 points: Pale yellow color. Apple fruit aromatics. Tastes of lemon, lime, and orange blossom. Crisp caramel finish. (1911 views)
Tasted by plechazunga on 6/3/2012: Tropical fruits with plenty of acid to balance it out. Agree with other note that this is very sauvignon blanc -esque. (1400 views)
Tasted by soyhead on 5/27/2012 & rated 92 points: nose - fragrant, white flower
mouth - complex, delicious and racy acidity, pineapple and other tropical fruits. I might have guessed to be a sauvignon blanc. (1515 views)

Chardonnay

The Chardonnay Grape

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
