Bought as a daily drinker many years ago so it was never in CT inventory. Unscrewed and poured. Nose of lime zest, citrus flowers, and hints of green apple. On the palate, zippy with bright citrus notes and a touch of apple. Nice crisp finish. A 10+ year old white that sold for $7 and drinks like this. Very pleasant surprise. Light and crisp, fresh and minerally, citrus and developing some very light musky-honeyed undertones. While certainly not for long-term aging, I don't see this nose-diving this year. Hard to beat for the price. (1571 views) | | Tasted by landa73 on 10/8/2008 & rated 89 points: Perfect for the price. Light, crisp, and complex enough to enjoy with food or on it's own. Citrus and apricot on the nose. Good minerality. Highly recommended. A slight green tinge with, for a $10 bottle, a wonderfully rich nose of apricot and honey. I don't recall these traits, but they were probably picked up with a bit of age. On the palate, I found pineapple, and a bit of lemon/lime. A great summertime quaffer and will look for the 2007.
