Tasted by StefanV on 8/6/2020 & rated 97 points: A magnificent bottle with a 100% syrah. Nose shows very concentrated fruit, dark fruit, taste is very balanced and well integrated. Finish is very, very long. A very elegant wine that is ready to drink. One remark however : price is pretty (too?) high. (1179 views)
Tasted by bubbachumps on 5/24/2019 & rated 97 points: More complex than my last bottle. Intoxicating nose with notes of tree bark, blackberry, black licorice, a touch of clove and some asphalt on the nose. Well integrated and balanced in the mouth, amazing mass in the mouth while remaining very light on its feet. No noticeable heat despite 15% alc (amazing!). Wonderful rich, spicy finish that went on and on. In a great window right now and should maintain peak drinking for 5+ years. Really delicious! (1605 views)
Tasted by bubbachumps on 3/14/2019 & rated 95 points: Super Syrah Night (Casa Tomek): The most ready to drink of all the wines we had tonight. Tree bark, blackberry and some asphalt on the nose. Well integrated and balanced in the mouth, incredibly no noticeable heat despite 15% alc (amazing!). Wonderful rich, spicy finish that went on and on. In a great window right now and should maintain peak drinking for 5+ years. Really delicious! (1879 views)
Tasted by grapist on 1/13/2016 & rated 93 points: Excellent, but not the memorable quaff that the 2000 was. (2792 views)
Tasted by bambam on 5/23/2015 & rated 94 points: Fruit and some stems on the nose. Well balanced in the mouth. Tannins are there but in harmony with the fruit and acid. Some pepper and eucalyptus wrapped in dark berries. Drink or hold. (3021 views)
Tasted by Modern Tage on 5/15/2015 & rated 95 points: Huge deep black in colour

Tasted by Wine_lvr on 12/10/2013 & rated 94 points: Tasted blind: Black in color. Very rich nose of dark berries, pecan and coffee. The wine has a nice sweetness, lots of power and is quite balanced. At the moment it feels a bit one dimensional. I see this as a much better wine in a few years down the road. (2733 views)
Tasted by robw on 10/12/2011 & rated 100 points: My wife and I were simply blown away with this wine. 07 was as kind to Languedoc as it was to CNdP. I agree with Jeff Davies' interpretation of this vintage when he says 'this will far out distance the 2006'. I am very happy to have more of this in my cellars. (4462 views)

Syrah

Varietal article (Wikipedia) | (Wines Northwest)

Note that some producers in the Northern Rhone distinguish between simply Syrah and "Serine", the latter described as ‘an ancient clone of Syrah, the berries of which are more oval-shaped and less deeply pigmented than Syrah’ by producer Tardieu-Laurent.
