Tasted by Senor_Underhill on 4/8/2011 & rated 87 points: Strange color - like a very pale rose mixed with a straw-colored white. Tropical fruits on the nose. Nice balance on the palate - good acidity. Short finish, as expected. Overall, enjoyable quaffer and excellent QPR. (2075 views)
Tasted by Eric Guido on 3/30/2011 & rated 88 points: On the nose, I found citrus, fresh herbs, a bit steely and hints of cedar. On the palate, it was fruit forward with citrus, white flowers and a nice splash of acidity that lasted into the fresh finish. (921 views)

White Blend

"White blend" means the wine is made from a blend of two or more different white varieties - or in some cases a blend of pink or red varieties that are vinified white, ie. without any skin contact.
A blend of Antao, Arinto, Rouperio.

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.
