Tasted by Ridgerunner on 1/31/2016 & rated 92 points: I definitely don't agree with Parker here! Leflaive is a great house in White Burgundy, and this wine is very nice! (3446 views)
Tasted by daniellobo on 10/19/2015 & rated 92 points: Very good wine. Classic pineapple in a gas station balanced with good minerality and crispy acidity. Medium finish.
Drinking very good right now but the freshness makes me believe it could age well for 2 or 3 years. (3683 views)
Tasted by kenv on 7/16/2015 & rated 95 points: White Burgundy Blind: Dead or Alive? (Home of Chef Andrew Plummer, East Greenbush, NY): Light yellow color. Big buttery nose. Big and rich in the mouth. Classic white Burgundy. Reminds me of the 2000 Domaine Leflaive Chevalier-Montrachet I had last week. (4326 views)
Tasted by Ridgerunner on 12/17/2014 & rated 93 points: Exemplary of why Olivier and Patrick are the kings of Puligny (3116 views)
Tasted by danielk168 on 10/13/2014 & rated 90 points: Not decanted, little signs of further development, more flavors came out after about 1 hour. probably time to drink up. (2883 views)
Tasted by Ridgerunner on 8/16/2014 & rated 92 points: Brilliant Puligny-Montrachet drinking way beyond its price point. Elegant with subtle minerality! (2255 views)
Tasted by Burgundy Al on 8/9/2014 & rated 88 points: Very good Villages wine, at a good place now. Shows a little poached, spiced apple from overall ripeness, but lemon and lemon peel are most prominent on both nose and palate. Good acidity helps lengthen the finish and provide freshness. (2372 views)
Tasted by JerM on 7/15/2013: (Cote de Beaune w Guillaume) clean and pleasant on the nose, showing some soft stone fruit, light oak, toasty minerality and generally gentle. White flowers, light, bright green apple acidity, yet some impression of viscosity, with hint of struck match and light melons. Pleasant flinty finish. (3945 views)
Tasted by Ugolin21 on 7/10/2013 & rated 93 points: Waouh ! Elegant fruit, complexity and splendid finish ! (3066 views)
Tasted by danielk168 on 12/25/2012 & rated 90 points: This wine has improved since my last tasting, also this time, decanted a bit longer, about 2 hours in the bottle. Finnish longer and more complex flavors coming out. Wonder if this will keep developing. 3 more left. (3521 views)
Tasted by arthrovine on 12/8/2012 & rated 90 points: Creamy full fruited ripe chardonnay with a bit of brash oak. Good acidity. Paired reasonably well with foods bu oak got in the way. (3652 views)
Tasted by josephme on 6/18/2012 & rated 90 points: Full, fruity. Needs more time for oaks to integrate. (4324 views)
Tasted by swapdoc on 6/11/2012: Youthful and complex, shows tones of green apples, sea shells, mingled with light essence of vanilla accented by a floral bouquet. After 2 hrs in a decanter, the wine became more coherent, showing sweetness of apple cider upon a rich, mineral body. Hitting its stride now. (3110 views)

Tasted by Empirate on 1/22/2012 & rated 90 points: Citrus and green apple on the nose. Medium bodied but remains crisp on the palate with acidy to balance the fruit. Hopefully the oak will become better integrated over time. (2675 views)
Tasted by swapdoc on 7/18/2011: A wonderful balance of purely extracted fruit and balance. Delicate, flowery nose; complex, fruit-forward flavors that dance on a palate like a sunlight bouncing off a diamond. Drinks beautifully now. A (3078 views)
Tasted by fullpint on 6/13/2011 & rated 91 points: Been drinking Leflaive for years, and this is a bottle that will evolve very nicely. A cuvee of many vineyards go into this rich and ripe chardonnay...it balances out towards the end with acidity and fruit length and what a pair with the charcuterie plate and scallops we had. Classic vintage but I would drink it right now as well! (3148 views)

Burgundy

Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)

Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes:
* "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons
* "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson
* "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson

# 2014 Vintage Notes:
"We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates

# 2015 Vintage Notes:
"Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson

# 2017 Vintage Notes:
"Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson

# 2018 Vintage Notes:
"The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
