Tasted by Parnelli on 7/27/2012 & rated 87 points: A nice tasty sauv blanc. Notes similar to past tastings. (3753 views)
Tasted by Parnelli on 6/19/2012 & rated 88 points: Had it with pan fried walleye and it went very well with it. Citrus and a little grass on the nose and mostly citrus on the palate. Nice acidity and balance. (3523 views)
Tasted by Parnelli on 6/3/2012 & rated 88 points: A very enjoyable wine. We normally don't care for French wines stylistically, but we really enjoyed this one. It's not a subdued wine, rather there's citrus and lemon grass on the nose and palate with some added grapefruit mid and back palate. The acidity, minerality and mouthfeel are very pleasant. (3493 views)
Tasted by mmurry on 4/29/2012 & rated 88 points: Tasted at room temperature after glass decanting about 2 hours. Lemon zest and floral notes on the nose, with just a touch of tropical fruit and grass at the end. Very good acidity on the palate, with lots of citrus and tropical fruit, and a slightly grassy finish. (3735 views)
Tasted by Xfactor on 4/27/2012 & rated 87 points: Floral nose, orange flowers. Lots of starfruit with lemon with some cagey acidity and long citrus finish. (3705 views)
Tasted by larryw on 4/18/2012 & rated 89 points: Fresh, acidic, grassy, very nice.\ (1402 views)
Tasted by rjm_va on 4/13/2012 & rated 89 points: tropical, apple and pear notes but still crisp enough to work well with foods. Very pleasant. (1297 views)
Tasted by ucbeau on 2/23/2012 & rated 90 points: For $12, it's hard to get much better with a white wine. This sauvignon blanc has laser-like acidity mixed with limestone, grass, lime skin, and a splash of ruby grapefruit. The bouquet is a bit tight at first, but if you let the wine warm up slightly, it unfolds into something very compelling. I loved the texture created by the acidity and minerality, the wine really grips your palate and takes it for a ride. Wish I'd bought more, hopefully Garagiste re-offers it. (1191 views)
Tasted by ezsobre on 12/8/2011 & rated 86 points: Simple if well-made. Tropical fruits, unoffensive straw, and some floral tones with time on the nose. Mild citrus and a hint of sweetness. Good price point. (2073 views)
Tasted by Muchacho on 11/8/2011 & rated 89 points: Out out the bottle with too much acidity, which mellowed with time. Some tropical flavors. I think this will continue to get better over the next few years. Hopefully I dont wind up drinking it all up too soon! (2545 views)
Tasted by vanpe003 on 11/4/2011 & rated 90 points: PnP. Opens a bit tight and simple, though pleasant. Initially, acidity was perhaps slightly too aggressive, but that settles down with some air. Both nose and palate highlight a relatively sweet and fresh style of Sauv Blanc with nice florals. A bit of tannic dryness on the finish. I think this will continue to get better with time. If I had scored this when originally opened, it would have been somewhere around 86 points. (2342 views)
Tasted by EducatedDrunk on 7/26/2011 & rated 84 points: Initially comes across as a little too sharp on the acid. Once warmed up in the glass, and given a little time, more fruit and floral tones do come through, and it's a nice enough bottle at the price point. (2612 views)
