(805 views) | | Tasted by kr522 on 9/2/2022 & rated 95 points: Crisp, chiseled fruit which is mineral driven with a kiss of ripeness. Precise and dense (1035 views) | | Tasted by kr522 on 4/6/2020 & rated 96 points: continues drinking incredibly well, with power and intensity of Montrachet combining with the flinty minerals of Chevalier. I would like to say it'll last another 15+ years, but this is Bouchard, so the farthest I'll go is to say I've got my fingers crossed. Could be majestic (2762 views) | | Tasted by Burgnick on 2/24/2020 & rated 90 points: While the 2010 Bouchard Montrachet is memorable and stunning, the Cabottes showed more ripeness for the vintage. A rich and ripe Chevalier that is on the tropical side of the fruit spectrum. (2487 views) | | Tasted by kr522 on 10/8/2019: Very similar stylistically to last bottle, perhaps a bit less fruit intensity showing through but still superb. 94-95 (2444 views) | | Tasted by kr522 on 3/25/2019 & rated 97 points: Tremendous wine, and stylistically right up my alley. High toned mineral, floral, and gorgeous mix of citrus and orchard fruit. This is packed, intense and racy, it’s hard for me to say it gets better because it’s so good today...but it’s almost painfully intense so it’ll be interesting to see how it evolves. For a 10 Chevalier, there is definitely more than a hint of richness and power that might be considered atypical and Montrachet-like (2158 views) | | Tasted by Bathtub58 on 11/27/2018 & rated 94 points: Tasting at the Domaine. Great acidity and complexity. Drinking well now, but this is going to be a real stunner. 94-96. (2046 views) | | Tasted by robferguson1 on 11/4/2018 & rated 96 points: Sensational wine, l Took over 2 hours to drink as you had to go slow and take little sips to mouth the wine.Light colour, opened probably 4 years too soon, love to see ,y. Ext one with some toasty flavour.U can see huge density on the side of the glass. (1102 views) | | Tasted by fcxj on 4/9/2018 & rated 94 points: Floral, sharp, youthful. (1525 views) | | Tasted by drwine2001 on 3/14/2014: Impressions from the 2014 La Paulee Verticals Tasting (Fairmont Hotel, San Francisco): Overwhelming toasty wood. Slight leesiness, pineapple fruit, no grip whatsoever. Gawd. (3894 views) | | Tasted by xwine on 3/14/2014: La Paulée de San Francisco 2014 Verticals Tasting (The Fairmont, San Francisco): Intoxicating aromas of flowers and minerals, simply awesome; rich and big, juicy, but exquisite balance. A great wine. (3675 views) | | Tasted by Burgundy Al on 3/14/2014: La Paulée de San Francisco - The Verticals (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Tasting, brief note. A sensational vintage for Cabotte. Starts with ripe apple, Meyer lemon, engaging floral and spice-driven aromatics. Dense and intense flavors, incredibly long and nuanced already. Lots of chevalier-montrachet character to start, more "Montrachet" from middle to finish. Excellent. (4789 views) | | Tasted by Jeremy Holmes on 11/12/2013: Rich and heady with notes of almond butter, aniseed and citrus. An explosive wine in the mouth with a real textural feel. There’s a refreshing kiss of lemon to the long finish. Got better and better in the glass. (3042 views) | | Tasted by Burgundy Al on 8/26/2013 & rated 95 points: Birthday Celebration (Del Frisco - Chicago IL): Lean and very pristine start with Meyer lemon, lemon peel and ripe apple aromas along with subtle floral hints. Ripe but also elegant, mostly showing orchard fruit flavors throughout to long, lacy finish. (4365 views) |

2018 vintage: "marked by a wet spring, a superb summer and a good harvest" 2019 vintage reports 2021: "From a general standpoint, whether for white, rosé or red wines, 2021 is a year marked by quality in the Rhône Valley Vineyards. Structured, elegant, fresh and fruity will be the main keywords for this new vintage." 2022 harvest: idealwine.info | wine-searcher.comBurgundy Les vins de Bourgogne (Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne) (and in English)
Burgundy - The province of eastern France, famous for its red wines produced from Pinot Noir and its whites produced from Chardonnay. (Small of amounts of Gamay and Aligoté are still grown, although these have to be labeled differently.) The most famous part of the region is known as the Cote d'Or (the Golden Slope). It is divided into the Cote de Beaune, south of the town of Beaune (famous principally for its whites), and the Cote de Nuits, North of Beaune (home of the most famous reds). In addition, the Cote Chalonnaise and the Maconnais are important wine growing regions, although historically a clear level (or more) below the Cote d'Or. Also included by some are the regions of Chablis and Auxerrois, farther north.

# 2013 Vintage Notes: * "2013 is a vintage that 20 years ago would have been a disaster." - Will Lyons * "low yields and highly variable reds, much better whites." - Bill Nanson * "Virtually all wines were chaptalised, with a bit of sugar added before fermentation to increase the final alcohol level." - Jancis Robinson
# 2014 Vintage Notes: "We have not had such splendid harvest weather for many years. This will ensure high quality (fragrant, classy and succulent are words already being used) across the board, up and down the hierarchy and well as consistently from south to north geographically apart from those vineyards ravaged by the hail at the end of June." - Clive Coates
# 2015 Vintage Notes: "Low yields and warm weather allowed for ample ripeness, small berries and an early harvest. Quality is looking extremely fine, with some people whispering comparisons with the outstanding 2005 vintage. Acid levels in individual wines may be crucial." - Jancis Robinson
# 2017 Vintage Notes: "Chablis suffered greatly from frost in 2017, resulting in very reduced volumes. As ever, the irony seems to be that what remains is very good quality, as it is in the Côte d’Or. Cooler nights across the region have resulted in higher-than-usual acidity, with good conditions throughout the harvest season allowing for ripe, healthy fruit." - Jancis Robinson
# 2018 Vintage Notes: "The most successful region for red Burgundy in 2018 was the Côte de Beaune. The weather was ideal in this area, with just enough sunlight and rain to produce perfectly balanced wines naturally." - Vinfolio
