| Community Tasting Notes (average 85.8 pts. and median of 86 pts. in 29 notes) - hiding notes with no text | | Tasted by Soundcaresser on 5/31/2013 & rated 89 points: Like the slightly weightier body on this rose... like eating strawberry candy. (3334 views) | | Tasted by tarheel17 on 5/15/2013 & rated 81 points: looked and tasted like candied rose petals. (Have you tasted candied rose petals? They're surprisingly yuck. It's a lovely concept, but the reality is disappointing - stale, fakely sweet, with floral bitterness underneath.) THe wine was certainly drinkable, but not something I would seek out again. (2853 views) | | Tasted by bterry3 on 4/6/2013 & rated 84 points: The wine looks Rosy colored. The legs are Fast. It smells like and Strawberry. The body is Light/Medium. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Short. A decent starter wine for a warm evening. Best served very chilled. (2664 views) | | Tasted by The Drunken Cyclist on 4/2/2013 & rated 86 points: Retail $18, Costco $12. One of the bottles I picked up in a wine emergency, this is certainly serviceable. My buddy over at Rozca, would likely balk at the over $10 tariff, however. Ample fruit and a bit of acidity, but lacking in depth and mid-palate balance. Not a regrettable purchase, but not running out for more, either. Good. 85-87 Points.

(2806 views) | | Tasted by Redguy on 8/23/2012 & rated 80 points: Pretty cranberry color. Strawberry palate with sweet lime and tangerine. Fades a bit at the end and finishes with saline sweet lime. Somewhat tart, somewhat sweet. Somewhat disjointed too. Decent and ok with food. (3468 views) | | Tasted by grease on 8/19/2012 & rated 82 points: Overly cherry, not as dry as my preference. Fairly one dimensional. Would not buy again. (1367 views) | | Tasted by Melster10 on 8/16/2012 & rated 90 points: Beautiful reddish pink color, first taste stings and buzzes your tongue then the cherry taste kicks in not too sweet nice and dry (1400 views) | | Tasted by Epic Tale on 6/27/2012 & rated 89 points: color: pomegranate x cherry koolaid; nose: coffee toffee x cotton candy; taste: light-to-medium-bodied mouth feel, fruity caramel taste, shortish finish of apple x canteloupe; overall: tasty, modern, refreshingly less tart and less flinty than plenty of other roses (1484 views) | | Tasted by GregGH on 2/19/2012 & rated 88 points: enjoyable on a sunny california day ... not sweet ... but not tart ...right on the edge (1607 views) | | Only displaying the 25 most recent notes - click to see all notes for this wine... |

| Francis Ford Coppola Producer websiteRosé Blend"Rosé blend" can mean a blend of just about any varietals since the designation comes from the resulting color of the wine.USAAmerican wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.California2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson Central Coasthttp://www.ccwinegrowers.org/links.html
