Community Tasting History

Community Tasting Notes (average 67.3 pts. and median of 65 pts. in 4 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by Apiciusny on 2/5/2013 & rated 65 points: Blech. Sickly, cloudy light brick red color. Smells and tastes exceedingly unpleasant. (3043 views)
Tasted by pbaek on 1/28/2011: I believe I was told that no sulphur is added to this wine. Light red/orange color. This is a wild one. Very stinky nose. Then crushed, sour cherries, farmyard and earth. Very expressive and distinct yet at the same time light on its feet. If you like clean, pretty wines, this one is not for you. 11.5% alcohol. Imported by Savio Soares whom I hear good things about - focus on small growers and natural wines. This one is exciting. (3685 views)
Tasted by Stephori on 2/2/2010 & rated 50 points: Very bad, hope the sink doesn't hate me after this. (4454 views)
Tasted by brooklynguy on 7/11/2009 & rated 87 points: this might be too natural for its own good. lots of CO2 at first, blows off, good fruit, spicy, a wild streak, not a well balanced wine. needs structure. (3928 views)
