Tasted by Cote d'Or on 5/2/2015: PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs
-translucent pale orange-pink
-lovely fresh stone fruit and melon
-med+ zippy acidity, med+ weight for the genre with fresh fruit and saline, faintest herbal note, finishes clean
-remarkably fresh, still drinking great, the class of Provencal roses in 2012 (1165 views)
Tasted by Cote d'Or on 7/5/2014: PopnPour, tasted over 2 hrs and Day 2
-translucent hauntingly pale light orange/pink
-low-key nose with some peach/apricot and melon notes
-only med acidity, med weight, savory minerality dominates palate somewhat reminiscent of Tempier, a bit more verve on Day 2
-surprising weight and a silky texture make this somewhat atypical for a provencal rose, would benefit from a bit more acidity (maybe it's faded since release last year?) (1473 views)

Château de Pampelonne Côtes de Provence Rosé

The rosé consists of a blend of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Carignan, Tibourenc, and Mourvèdre. The proportions and actual grapes vary with the vintage.

Rosé Blend

"Rosé blend" can mean a blend of just about any varietals since the designation comes from the resulting color of the wine.
