The nose is interesting with good pure aromas of red cherries. The mouth does not quite deliver on that promise; there is a nice spicy component but not much else. The balance between alcohol and acidity is good.
I bought this in half bottles to serve as a picnic wine, and it is perfectly fit for that purpose. Otherwise, I find it too bland for my taste.
