Wine-making tuned to please every taste. For me really boring, sorry. (2224 views) | | Tasted by Dr. Brewer on 8/24/2015: Emma liked it (2535 views) | | Tasted by Jona on 8/5/2015 & rated 86 points: Basically quite well balanced and correct mouthfeel but I think it could rest for a year or two to harmonize better. (2469 views) | | Tasted by Markus IWC on 4/6/2015 & rated 83 points: Butter, honey, attractive QPR (661 views) | | Tasted by WineGuy79 on 4/3/2015 & rated 89 points: If you only like overly oaked Chards that use the oak to hide flaws such as Kendall Jackson and have never actually tasted the grape then you may think this isn't good. However, if like to enjoy the flavors of the grape; crisp, acidic, bright fruit then you'll enjoy this. At the back end there is a subtle hint of oak, the wine is 70% stainless and 30% oak. Try this wine and you will become a real chard drinker. This is a very lightly oaked chardonnay, with a nose that is all peaches and apricots, honey, a floral hint, that leesy melon note, and the occasional interesting herbal note of thyme or rosemary. Acidity is low, but the alcohol still has a little kick. It tastes of dried stone fruits, leading into a surprisingly long finish of buttery toast . Fresh and interesting but it won't keep for long. (1433 views) | | Tasted by driver_pete on 11/13/2014 & rated 89 points: Went well with salmon (1973 views) | | Tasted by Lilja on 11/12/2014 & rated 85 points: Tons of oak and butter. Screams of the ABC kind of American Chardonnay. Buttered popcorn, vanilla, coconut, honey, butterscotch. Some tropical fruit, apricot and star fruit. But there is also a strange aroma of chicken liver.
Very low acidity, full bodied and round texture. Slight bitter finish. Decent intensity and length. Not my style, but if you're looking for over oaked chardonnay, this is just spot on. (1546 views) | | Tasted by Tim and Bonnie on 10/27/2014 & rated 88 points: Here's the trick to appreciating this wine...when you taste it there's a good chance you'll think "Pinot Gris", and if you like Pinot Gris, you'll appreciate this bottle. Judge it as a Chard and it will fall short of your expectation. Drink it as you would a PG, seafood and lighter fair, and you'll really enjoy it! (1280 views) | | Tasted by thunberg on 10/14/2014 & rated 78 points: @Munskänkarna 2-betyg utbildning Too much pear and vinilla on the nose. Very moderate acid, finish is a bit bitter. (1046 views) | | Tasted by SuperSomm on 8/22/2014: Straw yellow colour. Lemon on the nose. Taste of lemons with a creamy and nutty finish. Great with chicken in creamy sauce. (20 views) | | Tasted by shallIshantI on 6/4/2014 & rated 87 points: The 'organic' in the title originally put us off buying this - things with this label are typically overpriced and disappointing.
There's very little on the nose but the palate is pungent with good citrus fruit and floral overtones. It was not until the wine warmed closer to room temperature that we got the vanilla and caramel. Pleasant lingering aftertaste. Given the chance, this is a very nice wine. (1239 views) | | Tasted by tudval on 5/31/2014 & rated 87 points: When nothing else catches my eye in the liquor store, I always tend to pick this wine, an old standby for me. This vintage seems as good as the previous. Only negative, it's a bit on the light side, still, satisfying. (1095 views) | | Tasted by lmgha on 2/14/2014: Good...strong. Harsh at first taste, but very decent. No overpowering flavors. Has a bite but in a good, Grgich kind of way. $14.50/10.00 (1877 views) | | Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 11/9/2013 & rated 89 points: Light straw yellow color; aromatic, lifted, floral, fine applesauce, tart pear nose; tasty, complex, tangy, ripe pear, ripe quince, mineral palate with near medium acidity; needs 1 year; medium-plus finish (13.5% alcohol; could be a real crowd pleaser at $14; sample provided by winery) (280 views) | | Only displaying the 25 most recent notes - click to see all notes for this wine... |

Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.California2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson North CoastThe North Coast American Viticultural Area (AVA) in California, covering more than three million acres, includes Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Lake counties, and portions of Marin and Solano counties.
