Tasted by SyrahForth310 on 9/26/2019 & rated 88 points: Golden color, very full bodied with rich fruit feel, some butter andoak, and long sweet finish.
2013 vintage probably past its prime by 2019, as it was getting too sweet with some raisin notes in the finish. (1331 views)
Tasted by nvexplorer on 4/10/2018 & rated 90 points: A rich and luscious wine, spice combined with ripe and fresh tropical fruit notes. Very full-bodied and full-flavored, smooth, balanced and elegant. (2240 views)
Tasted by SyrahForth310 on 4/8/2018 & rated 90 points: Golden color, full bodied with rich fruit feel, some oak, and long sweet finish.
2013 vintage almost past its prime by mid-2018. Was probably more balanced a year or two ago when purchased. (2183 views)
Tasted by dougfbs on 1/18/2018 & rated 88 points: Way too buttery for the first day, but it blew off on the second and third day. Became quite nice. (2294 views)
Tasted by mjgkng on 11/13/2017 & rated 90 points: Nice balance with apple essence. (2441 views)
Tasted by mjgkng on 8/28/2017 & rated 91 points: Big full body with fruity finish. (2114 views)
Tasted by Bebum on 2/19/2017 & rated 88 points: Light gold color, clear, abundant legs.
Complex, fruity, earthy but not woody nose.
Full body, dense flavor, very hot mouthfeel, very long aftertaste.
Off-dry but well balanced by acidity and a touch of bitterness in the finish.
Very fruity, ripe peach, muscat grapes.
Delicious wine, certainly better had we drank earlier. (2486 views)
Tasted by Edclr on 10/25/2016 & rated 88 points: Great party wine, like the pinot. People love it. Delicious without all the fanfare of serious chards. (2959 views)
Tasted by Tuba Deus on 7/10/2016: Very full and flavorful, almost tastes like Pinot Noir if you close your eyes (3591 views)
Tasted by calicarolann on 4/15/2016 & rated 83 points: Big tropical citrusy fruits on initial nose. Calms down to heavy flat acetyl flavors of caramel/butterscotch. On sale for $14, happy to have tried due to their pleasant pinot noir, won't buy again. (4091 views)
Tasted by Racer117 on 3/19/2016: Probably not a repeat purchase. No score left as under the screw cap, it looked like brown syrup. Oxidation? Color in glass was a beautiful light gold. Cotton candy and tropical fruit aromas; med bodied with similar flavors along with lemon curd. Plenty of people will like this but I'm not one of them. And there's nothing wrong with that! 84 ish points. (3946 views)
Tasted by Angle Gold on 3/16/2016 & rated 90 points: Mild vanilla, acidity, very nicely balanced. Paired well with asiago and smoked gouda. (2792 views)
Tasted by dcbrown73 on 2/14/2016 & rated 85 points: The wine is greenish-gold in color. Pretty much mid-stalk area of lemongrass. It smells of lemon, honeydew, and garden hose while tasting of papaya, lemon and straw. It's medium bodied with a satin-like texture. I would say the acidity is slightly higher that it should be for a good balance. (2784 views)
Tasted by Chirality on 2/11/2016 & rated 89 points: Tropical on the nose. Initial flavors include papaya, lychee, and passion fruit. Secondary notes develop quickly revealing butter and tart peach. Finishes with lemon and spice. I find the many lackluster reviews surprising; this is a fun Chardonnay that combines and showcases the variety of styles found in California. It is worth a try. (2309 views)
Tasted by csimm on 1/30/2016 & rated 87 points: Does its job as a simple Chardonnay. Not unpleasant, but mostly forgettable. Notes of buttered popcorn, lemon, and vanilla.

Drink now. (3051 views)
Tasted by Ken G on 1/23/2016 & rated 83 points: Drinkable, but nothing special. Would not buy again. (1789 views)
Tasted by BDowdy on 12/24/2015 & rated 82 points: Not a fa, but Chardonnay is not my favorite (1970 views)
Tasted by Jeffowake on 12/13/2015 & rated 80 points: Vanilla and apricot. (1965 views)
Tasted by peeno on 12/7/2015 & rated 87 points: Grassy. Light Chard heavy chablis. Mild aroma of apple grapefruit with taste towards the latter. (1955 views)
Tasted by Z1nnfull on 12/3/2015 & rated 89 points: Same notes as 9/10/15, I could almost give this a 90.
Really fine Chard.
As I understand it, Chuck Wagner has sold Meiomi, so any vintages past 2013 will be questionable...for both the Pinot and Chard, get it while you can. (1890 views)
Tasted by J. Collier on 11/27/2015 & rated 86 points: The wine has low acidity. It smells like clove, melon, apple, oak and pineapple. The wine finishes short. It tastes like clove, apple blossom, pear, apple, melon and pineapple. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. The wine has smooth texture. (1962 views)
Tasted by mgrahamca on 11/4/2015 & rated 80 points: I was expecting more from Meiomi. Crisp wine with a rather non-existent dull finish. (2034 views)
Tasted by 1sophrosyne1 on 11/4/2015 & rated 85 points: Medium golden hue. Nose of warm citrus and spiced apple. Medium to full bodied, but not held together by the right texture or flavor of butter; an incorrect edge of caramel and nougat is there. Not sufficiently acidic to make it that way, either, as the heft of spice and sweeter citrus weigh it down. It's a decent wine. But I was disappointed, found it average...below average for the price tag. (1872 views)
Tasted by rjonwine@gmail.com on 10/31/2015 & rated 78 points: Light yellow color; lemon gelee, reduction, apple nose; odd, confected, lemon gelee, reduction, apple palate with very low acidity; short finish (13.8% alcohol) (536 views)
Tasted by gew71walsh on 10/1/2015 & rated 87 points: Same as before (2258 views)

Chardonnay

The Chardonnay Grape

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
