Tasted by jncinmo on 6/20/2016: Sour (2763 views)
Tasted by morach on 11/26/2015 & rated 87 points: Convincing New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Tropical flavor of melon, lime, but with some grapefruit overtones. Absent those, would be outstanding. As is, very good. (3225 views)
Tasted by jmasterj on 11/22/2015 & rated 87 points: Nice and easy SB from Marlborough. Perfect for a quick and lively glass of wine. (3350 views)
Tasted by pamitos on 11/12/2015 & rated 84 points: Nothing special about this wine (3371 views)
Tasted by basianov on 9/5/2015 & rated 80 points: Just OK for me - not as crisp as most of the NZ SBs I typically enjoy. Just a bit flat in flavor, but not too bad. (3598 views)
Tasted by audeyoe on 8/9/2015 & rated 86 points: Drank with an asian tuna and noodle dish. It didn't stand up well to the strong flavors in the dish, but was pretty good on its own. Might be better with lighter fish and a simple spice palette. (1676 views)
Tasted by shadowjack on 8/7/2015 & rated 90 points: Acidity: med+
Citrusy flavor with notes of melon. (1255 views)
Tasted by Mike Kopanski on 7/20/2015 & rated 86 points: Kind of a compromise New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Those expecting big herbal grassiness will be disappointed. Those expecting a "red hot" spiciness will be rewarded. The color is relatively clear for a NZ Sauvignon. There is also a somewhat atypical minor spritz visible on the glass and noticeable on the palate. Definitely a hint of that herbal spiciness only a NZ Sauvignon can do. Big, but not all that big acid. Lacks the renegade explosiveness of a really high scoring NZ Sauvignon, but we are gladly going to finish this bottle. (1144 views)
Tasted by tr buschini on 7/2/2015: Don't buy again (1125 views)
Tasted by catmccon on 6/29/2015 & rated 87 points: Perfectly enjoyable. Well balanced leaning towards the acidic- as it should be. Lemon and grapefruit upfront and some herbal notes at the end I am not entirely sold on. Nice and crisp- green grass and a pleasing mineral quality throughout. 9$ at Sams. Ever so slightly boring (after 2nd bottle). One of the best values I have found in the Marlborough category. (1072 views)
Tasted by quadguy012 on 6/7/2015 & rated 74 points: Nice wine with fish tacos (905 views)
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 6/7/2015 & rated 86 points: Plowing through samples (My Place - Washington, DC): Light straw color. Aromas and lemon verbena, grapefruit, white pepper and green beans. Lively acid, moderately creamy, flavors of nectarine and grapefruit mix with spicy white pepper, green herbs and notes of minerals and chalk. Not super complex, but better than many at this price point. (1392 views)
Tasted by appleforest on 6/6/2015 & rated 87 points: Pleasant and in style but not be particularly impressive. Entirely reasonable at $10. Last year had dominant acidity; this is much more balanced. (869 views)
Tasted by pdev on 5/12/2015 & rated 86 points: Pine tree, pink grapefruit, touch of rot? palate is suprisingly soft. Ripe grapefruit palate. Easy drinking NZ SB...could use a little more verve (925 views)
Tasted by gclaw on 4/15/2015 & rated 85 points: Fruity and grassy nose. Tangy flavor maybe grapefruit. Love MR SB and this is nice for price point. (952 views)
Tasted by bootsdomino on 3/5/2015 & rated 80 points: glorified water, hardly a representation of sauv blanc much less NZ sauv blanc. (1300 views)
Tasted by a1rustyw on 2/14/2015 & rated 90 points: Very well balanced; tasty. Paired well with boiled shrimp & crab salad. I will definitely buy more. (1070 views)
Tasted by CameronSumpter on 2/7/2015 & rated 87 points: Grass and grapefruit. Pretty acidic, albeit nice and crisp. Probably can't be beat at its price-point; drink now. (998 views)
Tasted by SLOFred on 12/27/2014 & rated 89 points: Lovely wine with consistently nice grapefruit character. Great wine for the price. Not sure you can find better in this price range. I really like the NZ SB from the Marlborough region. (1027 views)
Tasted by Baron Slick on 11/25/2014 & rated 88 points: Crisp, linear, and tightly wrapped, there's tangy aromas and flavors of guavas, passion fruit, lime, lemongrass, melon, and a suggestion of white pepper on a light-bodied frame. The finish is short lived but overall this is enjoyable. (1049 views)
Tasted by La Cave d'Argent on 11/11/2014 & rated 83 points: A very light spritz is immediately evident on this pale yellow/green wine. Aromas of lemongrass, citrus and chervil are followed by similar flavors on the palate. Light-bodied, tangy and with nicely integrated alcohol, it is a bit thin in the middle and closes somewhat short. While not offensive, there is nothing special going on here. Drink now-2015. (1190 views)
Tasted by hungrysokoke on 10/25/2014 & rated 78 points: Almost colorless. Thin legs. Grapefruit and passion fruit on the nose. A bit flat on the palate, but citrusy with melon. (939 views)
