Tasted by jkoenen on 11/1/2020 & rated 92 points: Lovely white Rhône-blend. Rich and dense but it does have sufficient acidity and freshness to keep it far from turning into flabby. After this First Date I'm going for a seond. (875 views)
Tasted by urban_dk on 5/2/2015 & rated 92 points: Delicious Crème Brûlée aroma, with a similar profile on the palate. Big hit on this evening. (1840 views)
Tasted by bterry3 on 3/21/2015 & rated 87 points: Very light nose, slightly floral. Smooth, almost an alcohol essence. Unique flavor, light fruit with a tendency towards grass. Light finish. We would categorize this as a French- style white.

The wine looks greenish gold colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. The body is light. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. (1877 views)

White Rhone Blend

A white wine containing two or more Rhône varieties, including: Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne, Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc.

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

California

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
