Tasted by skaliner on 5/29/2009 & rated 90 points: What a delight. The "experts" say the bottle should have been consumed by 2005. We drank it with filets and it was fabulous!!! (2252 views)
Tasted by gellie on 11/18/2008 & rated 92 points: sorry to see the last bottle go. (2505 views)
Tasted by chris_3 on 8/13/2008 & rated 85 points: K ok to drink initially quite harsh then softened with air time (2259 views)
Tasted by gellie on 12/11/2007 & rated 91 points: better than last bottle, (2523 views)
Tasted by wineward on 4/14/2007 & rated 88 points: Opened and tasted. A lovely blackberry musk nose. Flavors are dark, with graphite and bark and dark cherry. Smooth, old finish. Delightful. (2695 views)
Tasted by gellie on 3/11/2007 & rated 90 points: starting to fade (1503 views)
Tasted by thebonnydooner on 2/2/2007 & rated 89 points: Bought around 3 years ago from Costco for about $16. This ended up pretty darn tasty. Lost much of its baby fat - oak was well integrated, the cherry and blackberry fruit took on more chocolate nuances. Nice ripe palate, with blackberry and blueberry fruit with strong acidity, soft tannins and a nice rich dark chocolate finish. Finish is a little short but this is a complex and nicely drinking wine that has aged beautifully. Happy that I have more reasonably cheap "Aussie experiments" aging in my cellar. (1511 views)
Tasted by dsimmons on 4/4/2004 & rated 90 points: Picked this wine up at Costco for about $16.50. WS rated it 90. not rated by RP. Drank the wine with bison burgers. In fact I am still sipping as I write this TN. The color is dark ruby but a tad cloudy. The wine has good fruit and definite chocolate nuances. The wine definately improves with a bit of time so I would recommend some time in the decanter. Very good now and I believe it will improve with a bit of time in the cellar. I would give this wine 90-91. Think I will be picking up a few more bottles!!

Second day. The nose is more open with good fruity aromas. The wine is very concentrated with good cherry chocolate taste. I think a good bottle for $16.50!! (2324 views)
