Not allowed to put the vintage on Vino de Tavola label, but it is given by the lot number on the back label.
This is the top wine from the producer.
Very deep ruby, almost black center.
Very dark fruits; black cherry, black plums, blackcurrant.
Velvet textured ripe dark fruits in the mouth with a long spicy finish.
Dry, low/medium acidity, medium/high tannins, full body.

Many (non-wine fanatic) friends of mine love this wine. It drinks beautifully and I love it especially for the effort to produce a modern wine with local grapes. The packaging matches the content. Not given a vintage but rather an "edition" as the grapes come from different regions. This is the 6th vintage. Very dark, full-bodied, surprisingly low acidity, quite a silky texture. It has "editions", with grapes from different regions and in different proportions in each edition. This "edizione 6" is made with Montepulciano and Sangiovese from Abruzzi and Primitivo, Malvasia Nera and Negroamaro from Puglia.
