Community Tasting Notes (average 88.7 pts. and median of 89 pts. in 3 notes) - hiding notes with no text

Tasted by thomasbahr80 on 5/2/2023 & rated 89 points: Colour: medium ruby red, legs are medium, no sediment
Nose: rose petals, red cherry, herbal
Mouth: red cherry, spice, zartbitter chocolate, currant, med acidity and grippy tannins
Finish: rather light, bright acidity, chocolate and straight tannin structure

Very unique autochthonous variety, aromatic and refreshing, although 15% doesn't feel hot, very good red wine which deserves the 3 red glasses from Gambero rosso (155 views)
Tasted by whits on 2/11/2023 & rated 89 points: Ripe, red fruity notes on the nose, full bodied, medium acidity, deep and dark, clean and youthfully fresh, flavors of black cherry, raspberry, blueberry, anise and herbal bunches, big and juicy, had with pork tenderloin with wine reduction, well made, fruit forward and lip smacking, does not show alcohol (216 views)
Tasted by Momus99 on 12/19/2022 & rated 88 points: $25 or so at Mondo Vino. My first Ruché. An interesting wine. Popped and poured. Transparent dark red. On the nose, I get raspberries and black pepper, with some bubblegum. Same on the palate plus good acidity to keep everything in balance. Tannins are prominent though fine in texture. Label says 15% alcohol though it doesn’t taste like it-No booziness. Altogether a pleasant wine, light in flavor palate and body. Not really sure what I’d pair it with though Wikipedia says it’s traditionally paired with slow-braised beef. (250 views)
