The wine is medium bodied with good soft tannins, very nice weight, delicious cassis fruit with overtones of pomegranate, develops a bit of anise on the finish. Very good length. It's not particularly complex but the fruit is powerful and enjoyable. In the mouth it's big, not over the top, round, soft, and long. This normally sells for about $30 but I found it for $3 on closeout. Very pleasing and easy to drink. Not a big over the top wine. Solid red and black fruit notes.
