Tasted by Paul Lin on 6/20/2020 & rated 89 points: Boozy but yummy. A crowd pleaser, to be sure. Ripe notes of blueberry, blackberry, and plum. Hints of cocoa and vanilla. One or two glasses is enough. You might as well switch to Bourbon after that. (1549 views)
Tasted by Erick Wand on 12/25/2017: Unfortunately we waited a bit too long. Residue in the bottle neck and on the cork. Decanted immediately. Not bad, just enough past its freshness date to have a tinge of raisin on the nose. The bloom had gone, but what remained was still a good feel in the mouth and a variety of flavor components to explore. Did not pair well with the smoke roasted prime rib. Had high hopes with the chocolate eclair with dessert. Even after decanting for over an hour, it came up lacking. (2467 views)

Tasted by wmazanec on 2/21/2016 & rated 90 points: Enjoyed by all. Well balanced, still plenty of life. Thick, touch of oak, chocolate. (3483 views)
Tasted by rwstorer on 11/26/2015 & rated 90 points: - Purple color with medium forming legs and aromas of blackberry, chocolate and vanilla. It's unbalanced and has flavours of blackberry with a medium/full body with a medium finish - Lots of life left! (3168 views)
Tasted by slowlearner on 5/1/2015 & rated 93 points: I love this wine. Needs a good forty five minutes to open, but once it does, notes of chocolate for days. Fruit forward but a great finish. Once it opens, drinks very nicely for the next few hours. (2813 views)
Tasted by KristianT on 1/9/2015 & rated 84 points: Maybe an unfair review - the wine is not bad per se, but this style really doesn't do it for me. It is very very extracted - booze and marmelade. If you are looking for elegance and balance, look somewhere else... (2100 views)

Tasted by Don and Pam on 10/30/2013 & rated 90 points: lot's of sediment but after a straining and decanting it is rich and velvety. Just like we had hoped it would be. (2363 views)

Tasted by Food Daddy on 3/18/2013 & rated 90 points: Aussie fruit bomb. Don't seem to improve with age. (2572 views)
Tasted by jrsobeck on 10/16/2012 & rated 88 points: Typical Aussie fruit bomb. (3230 views)
Tasted by gmbdds on 8/17/2012 & rated 88 points: Of course this has a lot of dark fruit flavor and heat but also some earthy and tarry notes to add a little dimension. As usual, a solid but not outstanding wine that doesn't deserve the extremes from both sides of the polarization. (3207 views)
Tasted by phlegls on 3/29/2012 & rated 91 points: Pop & Shake (3909 views)
Tasted by PSUSteve on 3/20/2012 & rated 88 points: Pop and pour. Less blueberry and spice than the last time but alcohol is still there. (3248 views)
Tasted by Johnny August on 2/29/2012: I have been enjoying this vintage of the Boxer for the last 3-4 years. Had my first bottle in over a year this evening (Feb 29 2012) and it may be getting better with age...especially after the Mollydooker Shake! 93+ (3427 views)
Tasted by Pugs on 11/4/2011 & rated 87 points: Way over the top. Super tannic after pop n pour. With an hour in the glass this is better but still way overblown and I can think of many Aussie shiraz at a similar price point that are significantly better (e.g. Cimicky, even Schild). My least favorite Mollydooker. (3712 views)
