Tasted by WineCellarTV on 10/18/2013 & rated 92 points: Light yellow with green reflexes. Young & vibrant!
Aromas of Stonefruits and little Grapefruit. Honeydew Melon.
More fruit with Gooseberry and even Cassis (!).
Freshness of Floral and Herbal characters.
Straightforward, fresh and inviting with elegance and power!
Flavors of, again, Stonefruit- mostly Peach- Citrus and Gooseberry.
Beautiful fruity acidity. Decent Minerality.
Intense, long finish with Yellow Fruit and emphasis on Herbal Spiciness (Anise!).
In the beginning clean and tight with a soft and light mouthfeel, but developing power and density on the mid- palate and finish.
Harmonious and elegant with medium complexity.
A nicely balanced, very approachable and delicious wine!
It still appears very young with no signs of aging at all.
Beautiful crisp- and freshness, filigree minerality and a powerful finish.

Tasted by Papies on 8/21/2012 & rated 89 points: Pale straw colour, almost no colour at all. Mild nose although at time of tasting this was opened for some time ( the things we find at the BA lounge at T5). On the palate it is at its best, light sweet kabinet like notes, light nutty, medium bodied and harmonious. Quite enjoyable to be honest in its lightness. 89 (1866 views)
Tasted by EleonoraScholes on 3/8/2011: Straw colour. Nutty and fresh fruity lift in the nose. Structured, long. E. Tasted at the Prinz von Hessen dinner at Schlosshotel Kronberg. (2092 views)
Tasted by andrewstevenson.com on 2/11/2010 & rated 88 points: Partly fermented on its skins, apparently.
Very fresh and open on the nose. There's a nice open crispness on the palate. Works well. (1993 views)

#2014 Vintage Notes:
2014 Vintage Report by Terry Theise
2014 Vintage Report by Wine Spectator
"My gut still tells me the Saar (and to some extent) the Ruwer are better overall in 2014 than the more storied areas of the Mosel proper, but those that spent the requisite time living in their middle-Mosel vineyards made some of the most electric and "feathery" Riesling in a long time (maybe the finest in 20 years - yes, it's true!)" - Jon Rimmerman (Of course only a very short historical memory would call the Saar and Ruwer less 'storied' than the middle Mosel - jht)

Rheingau

VDP Rheingau (Official site) | The Rheingau (Wines of Germany) | Wikipedia about The Rheingau
On weinlagen.info

The small but fine wine-growing area Rheingau offers one for the culture of the vine ideal microclimate and best soil conditions. The Rhine runs uninterruptedly almost one thousand kilometres from Basel up to its muzzle into the North Sea, in a northerly direction. With a short exception - the Rheingau. The Rheingau mountains force the river to a change in direction here. The vineyards falling in this region to the south stretch really to the sun. The king of the white wines, the Riesling, finds ideal local conditions for the unfolding of his fine fruity and elegant type of vine character on the multilayered weathering grounds with loess, loam and sand additions.
