Tasted by dgossett on 6/27/2013: We drank this wine over two nights; it seemed as good or better the second. It was very fruit forward, but quite complex. It went fabulously with a southern-Italian pasta-and-eggplant dish. Cheap and cheerful dinner wine. (4036 views)
Tasted by Martnmac on 3/5/2013 & rated 88 points: Heavy fruit forward blend but certainly easy. User friendly Wine for the masses. And We don't mind being part of the masses on Tuesday night. Solid Double Yum for the Tum Tum!

Tasted by Bwoodsmn on 2/16/2013 & rated 90 points: Plum, and berries, no trace of tannins or oak. (1187 views)
Tasted by Bill1100 on 12/15/2012 & rated 85 points: One of those wines that was better on the second night but not so much on the third.
The wine looks Garnet colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Orange, and Strawberry Jam. It tastes like Strawberry, and Orange. The body is Light/Medium. The wine has Smooth texture. The wine finishes Medium. (4367 views)
Tasted by Martnmac on 11/25/2012 & rated 89 points: Fantastic wine to drink with friends. Great crowd pleaser

Tasted by TKS9 on 10/14/2012 & rated 82 points: I get a weird, almost orange juice-like mouthfeel and acidity on the initial attack, softening to more wine-like notes on the midpalate but with a very odd overall effect and no real structure or finish to speak of. Perhaps best described as "interesting" (or, less charitably, disjointed/confused), this is definitely not my style. (4547 views)
Tasted by JR_Boston on 9/23/2012 & rated 91 points: Not as good as the evolution white, but still really nice. You can really taste the variety of grapes within the blend. (4723 views)
Tasted by Chilgenfeld on 9/13/2012 & rated 86 points: fruit forward wine. A wonderful complement with italian pasta dish. (4686 views)
Tasted by tebor on 5/19/2012 & rated 79 points: Super grapey (2587 views)
Tasted by monist on 5/18/2012 & rated 86 points: Little fruity, but drinkable... (1825 views)
Tasted by cliffkol on 5/13/2012 & rated 87 points: Fruity. Company enjoyed (1752 views)
Tasted by Bellissimo on 5/11/2012: Juicy quaffer with a little spicy nose and sneaky tannins on the back end. Enjoyable. (1735 views)
Tasted by cliffkol on 5/1/2012 & rated 87 points: A really nice quaffing wine. Juicy has been the best description and I agree, but with some tannins and a bunch of character this wine manages to separate itself from most of the other >$15 wines. (Doris: really likes this wine (91) ) (1854 views)
Tasted by foobarski on 4/27/2012 & rated 86 points: Good fruit flavors ... went well with burgers on the grill and oven fries. (1350 views)
Tasted by cliffkol on 4/17/2012 & rated 87 points: Willamette Valley - Tasted at winery: Great company wine. Slightly sweet, fruity, balanced. Well done (Doris: Yes) (3037 views)
Tasted by Bellissimo on 4/15/2012: Got a small glass out of a bottle I'm not sure how long was open but it couldn't have been more than 90 minutes. Juicy raspberry, blueberry, rhubarb, strawberry with slight tannins on the rear. (1833 views)
Tasted by Omar Khayyam on 4/15/2012 & rated 80 points: Winemaker's dinner with Alex Sokol Blosser. (19 Glas, Stockholm, Sweden): lots of new oak - buttery with cherry dominated palate, also peaches and raspberries - and no tannins. (2355 views)
Tasted by Bellissimo on 3/7/2012: I kept telling myself "there must be some Barbera in there". Juicy wine with fine tannins. Raspberry, rhubarb, blueberry, green tea and hint of oak. Pleasant quaffer. (2042 views)
Tasted by r&j on 2/5/2012 & rated 84 points: Juicy and thin. Not for me. (2354 views)
Tasted by Bellissimo on 12/29/2011: Got a small taste and didn't take detailed notes. Juicy would be the best word to describe it. Red and blue fruits with little tannins. (2211 views)
Tasted by Bellissimo on 11/15/2011: Opened , poured into a class, tasting note at hour 3 from that glass. Lighter rim, purple core. Nose shows light blueberry, raspberry, and cedar. Nice and juicy up front, blueberry, strawberry, slight candied, green tea and slight tannins. First bottle, simple juicy quaffer. Like this more than the Meditrina. (2168 views)
Tasted by peternelson on 1/18/2003 & rated 86 points: Red Carpet: OK, easy, sweet nose and mouth of floral, melon, peahc, trop sweet kiwi, light fruits; med body, good watery fruit mouth; but not viscous. (1213 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.
