Tasted by rollieandjeni on 10/4/2013: gave to jessica as a gift for watching lily (2207 views)
Tasted by lundmc on 8/25/2013 & rated 90 points: Nicely executed red blend. Paired well as the opener for the evening with cheese/sausage plate. Somewhat light, but well-balanced. Was outclassed by the Fleury that followed, but served its purpose in its slot for the evening. (1806 views)
Tasted by Pufferfish22 on 3/21/2013: All blends were very similar - too much sugar and too light - almost pinot like despite having zinfandel and cabernet blends (1822 views)
Tasted by danielbleier on 2/25/2013 & rated 88 points: friendly wine, bright berry flavors, chocolate, and mild tannins. Not terribly complex, but well made and very enjoyable. (1747 views)
Tasted by jlehrer on 1/28/2013 & rated 90 points: One of the better noses for the winery- tasty, but better paired with food- enjoyed with various Asian flavors. (1923 views)
Tasted by ShelbyS on 12/18/2012 & rated 85 points: Over priced (723 views)
Tasted by njgolfer on 11/11/2012: Cedar spice, dried herb, molasses and black raspberry (616 views)

USA

American wine has been produced since the 1500s, with the first widespread production beginning in New Mexico in 1628. Today, wine production is undertaken in all fifty states, with California producing 84% of all U.S. wine. The continent of North America is home to several native species of grape, including Vitis labrusca, Vitis riparia, Vitis rotundifolia, and Vitis vulpina, but the wine-making industry is based almost entirely on the cultivation of the European Vitis vinifera, which was introduced by European settlers. With more than 1,100,000 acres (4,500 km2) under vine, the United States is the fourth-largest wine producing country in the world, after Italy, Spain, and France.

2021 vintage: "Unlike almost all other areas of the state, the Russian River Valley had higher than normal crops in 2021, which has made for a wine of greater generosity and fruit forwardness than some of its stablemates." - Morgan Twain-Peterson
