It fizzed and crackled with all sorts of odd cultures, was a little bretty and smelt of cucumber and juniper berry. It was skinsy in the mouth with good intensity and finished with a big sprinkling of salt. In my opinion it is best enjoyed with food at the moment as it mellows it somewhat. I had it with pan-fried pollock with butterbeans and some fried vegetables. Very nice! (3402 views) |
