It does not appear to be oaked. The nose is medium (-) in intensity. It is youthful. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity. The polyphenols are smooth , and the minerality is medium. The wine is light to medium-bodied, with medium flavor intensity and a medium finish. The Chardonnay is well balanced and nicely made. It's just a little light, shy and reserved, but overall it is a remarkably good value at around $15.00. Drink now or in the next couple of years. The nose is open, but it's lacking some depth.
Taste: Light bodied with crisp medium+ acidity. The feel has a softer touch with very good tones of pears, minerals, and some cream tones.
Overall: This is a very good chardonnay. It has a lighter touch on both the nose and palate. It does slightly lack some depth, but is very enjoyable. (4389 views) |
